![]() ![]() External cam QR's just don't get it tight enough. The tighter you can get the rear QR, the better. Also, make sure you use a shimano style internal cam QR lever or get a DT Swiss ratcheting skewer. If the bike's rear triangle has sway in it, normally not the shock bushings fault. Rockshox and Manitou have a lot of bushing sizes available, just need to find the right one. For the bushings, you should be able to get those pretty easy. In order to get everything you need for it to work "like new", it could be a money pit where a new shock would cost less. And trying to get it re-pressurized was a pain. I tried to work on a cheaper shock of similar design, and ultimately, it didn't affect the performance. Is the rebound not working any more? what's really wrong with the shock that keeps you from riding? (other than not fully operating compression and rebound controls) ![]()
